There are a few solutions to these specific encounters, either a hoax, a misidentification, or technology from some other leg of the government that wants to keep it a secret, aka air force/ CIA. I'd bet it's inter dimensional beings before claiming it's aliens, because the chances of aliens even finding earth, never mind getting to it, are impossibly slim.
