  3. A truck driver should be paid at least 4 times the rent for one bedroom apartment local commute. This is not a transient wage. This wage is the normal legal minimum wage under the minimum wage act. The current wages for truckers is one half the minimum wage and their efforts to hire people who have support of criminal wages like Mom or husband is a reflection of the sincerity of employers.
