  2. Marriage was created by religions. The concept was to fear god judgement. These days, religions are twisted to fit narratives. Remember the reason why women are able to leave taking half the stuff is because in the past, women heavilly depended on their husband for everything. Government/churches made laws to punish men for dumping their wives for a younger one when she supported him for many years which was very unfair. The problem is now that women work and make as much money as men in general, these laws are heavilly flawed. On the bright side, the laws aren't made against men, so if you marry a rich woman, you could leave and take her stuff. 😆

  5. It's because dr. Orion sees everything as a market & hierarchy. In my opinion, it is highly cultural as in 'merica, money and power are goals and gods. Hypergamy is a result of that and the less a society is money driven, the less there is and the more equal relationships are possible.
