  2. There was a young German or Swiss pilot who did this very same thing. He was obsessed with the history of an earlier plane which had crashed into a particular mountain in the French Alps. He was known to be suffering from depression, yet the airline company’s doctor simply prescribed him Prozac and let him continue to fly. His Captain left the cockpit to use the washroom, but the co-pilot locked him out and headed into that same mountain. This was about 5 years ago.
