  1. Why wouldn’t ancient civilizations be found buried in Northern Europe? So what if that area was a cold, vast frozen wasteland? Today there exist ancient cultures in northern circumpolar regions, like Inuit in Alaska, Canada and Greenland.

Leaving a time stamp or signature on megalithic structures reminds me of the basis for Kubrick’s film 2001, A Space Odyssey, wherein an advanced alien civilization leaves a ‘calling card’ monolith buried just under the Moon’s surface and triggers a signal to one of Jupiter’s moon’s, named Io, when the monolith is excavated and hit by sunlight, indicating humans are ready for their next step in evolution.
