  3. North Koreans are, on average about 4 inches shorter than their South Korean cohorts due to endemic food shortages and occasional famines. This includes all military personnel. Most of their time in training consists of foraging for scraps of food, pilfering food stores, stealing food from villagers and boiling grass to keep from fainting, all while their elites dine on the finest Russian caviar and French pastries, Dom Perignon champagne, duck confit and lobster tails until they are morbidly obese.
