  1. In Toronto many parking meters only take credit cards. They no longer take cash. And they don’t accept debit cards. I am prohibited from owning a credit card as it is a requirement of being on long term disability (a credit card is considered getting a loan). I recently suffered damages by getting a parking ticket when I parked at one of these new ‘credit-card-only’ parking stub payment machines. I had hundreds of dollars on my debit card but it doesnt accept debit. I also had about $15. in cash and coins on my but the machine doesn’t take that either. Should street parking in Toronto be only for those wealthy enough to afford a credit card now?
