  1. Putin would’ve invaded whether or not NATO had bolstered its Eastern flanks. Putin would’ve always threatened nuclear weapons use no matter what the NATO, US and the EU did or didn’t do with their weapons. We’re dealing with a psychopath here. Don’t look for any deals, you’ll be sorely disappointed.

  3. Of all of Putin’s 4,000 personal body guards I’m sure at least a few of them have brothers dying in the Russian armed forces currently fighting in Ukraine.

  4. Last week N. Korea fired another nuclear warhead-capable ICBM. They’re in desperate need of attention, since the world is preoccupied in Ukraine right now. The same could be said for Putin, leader of another pariah state seeking attention from the west, before his days are over.
