This plane was fully loaded with passenger and luggage, and with FULL fuel tanks. Hot outside ambient temperatures means less thrust from engines.

  4. @peter The APU is a ground based unit, located on the tarmac behind the empennage. It is disconnected before pushback. It has nothing to do with the crash.
