  1. It’s more affordable for a provincial government to send a patient down to the USA for some specialized treatment not available in Canada. It’s a win/win/win. But detractors will use this model as an excuse to blame the Canadian system as flawed. It’s not. It’s far superior to the US system. It also much more cost effective and most importantly the Canadian system has better health outcomes than comparable procedures and prognosis in the USA. The poorest Canadian gets better quality and more affordable health care than the wealthiest Americans. Of course, those people would just fly their private jet to Switzerland if it was something serious.

  2. While allowing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of others is called good business acumen. The system is rigged, folks. Time to wake up from the American Dream, cause you have to be asleep to believe it.
