  1. US Americans are the world leaders in conspiracy theories. They constantly look for connections between things that aren’t necessarily connected, but that makes them feel better. Then they feel they are somehow smarter than the general public for their sharp insight and in seeing the connections that no one else is seeing. It’s actually a named psychiatric condition. It’s called Apophenia.
