  27. It took my landlord 5 years to remove a tenant who allowed about 300 wild pigeons into his second floor apartment every day to feed them. This tenant purchased an estimated 9 tons of pigeon feed a year which he carried into his apartment so he could open his windows every single day for 5 years. The pigeons had been trained to expect this daily feeding. It was like clockwork. They’d wait on the power lines just outside his apartment window every day. The mess was incredible. The smell was horrific. The Landlord and Tenant Board was utterly useless in getting rid of him. Our landlord attended a hearing for eviction by Zoom, but the Board had run out of time for the day dealing with other matters. So they told my landlord to come back next year.
