  2. As kids we hadron airplanes made of balsa wood. They had a small wind up propellor that you’d wind up with a rubber elastic band which ran along the length of the ‘fuselage’ from the back of the prop to the tail. I’ve often wondered if this concept couldn’t be employed on a massive scale for things like tractors, lawn mowers, golf carts, etc. using rubber as a source of stored energy. And what about large steel springs? Take the same concept from a Swiss watch with its miniature springs and flywheels and enlarge it.
