  1. Threatening a NATO member country, Denmark, (Greenland) with military force puts a target on Trumps back since he is now officially the head of the US military, Commander In Chief. Canada is also a NATO member country, and when one NATO country is threatens ALL NATO countries are obliged to respond and come to their defence. Being so close to the USA Canadians are well placed for such a task.

  2. Trump can go fck himself. And Ford is no help politicizing this issue for his own personal gain, saying he needs a mandate to put up a defence, something that is already his job. He won the last election with the lowest voter turnout in Ontario electoral history.

Trudeau should have already imposed 25% tariffs on all Red states a month ago, when Trump first insulted and threatened all Canadians, and then added another 25% tariff on top of that on the eve of Trump’s inauguration, and added another 25% unless he stops all the illegal guns, drugs and migrants from crossing into Canada from the USA. And finally, threaten a full 100% tariff unless Trump comes to Ottawa to apologize to Trudeau and all Canadians for being a bad boy. Every parent knows a bully needs to be put in his place, humiliated when necessary. That’s all they understand.
