  1. The Speaker’s primary mistake in banning the kaffiyeh is he could never possibly know if a person wearing it was doing so as a political statement, or simply as part of their traditional dress. He presumes the ability to read minds, and assigns a guilty mind prejudicially to everyone who wears this scarf.
