  5. Any medical treatment, drug or biologic intervention can be considered either voluntary or it is mandatory. For me personally it is voluntary; I have no career or job to lose. But I know that for many others it is de facto mandatory; their jobs and livelihoods depend on their acquiescence to allow themselves being injected with an unproven biologic. There are no long term studies for any of the Covid vaccines.

I’m glad to finally see JP take a stand (either way) on the issue of vaccine mandates, threats to one’s livelihood, compliance etc. He’s vaccinated, yet against the overall government mandates; no one can accuse him of being anti-vaxx. Medical treatment should remain a personal choice and a private matter.

  9. Socialism? You’re soaking in it. Every day we contribute to socialist systems, schools, airports, traffic signals, fire departments. We may never drive a car, have kids in school, or fly somewhere in a plane, but we all pay for these things with our taxes, whether or not we want them. That’s socialism. Yet no one complains about it, except when it comes to helping poor and destitute individuals. Then, these Neo Libs types go crazy. It’s a double standard. Why can’t they just admit they enjoy punishing, or seeing someone else punish a weaker, less fortunate person?

  12. “Follow the science” is the modern day version of “just trust us”. Most of us wouldn’t know “science” if it hit us in the face, and they know this. In other words, it’s a way to silence the doubters, the naysayers, the Cassandras and the questioning so they can more easily foist their ideas and vaccines upon society.

What he said about these past two years of insanity is exactly what I’ve been thinking; natural immunity is always superior to vaccinated immunity, a public health failure, the news media going along for the ride with mandates, and the collective wisdom basing its public health policies on nothing more than fear and ignorance.

  24. This virus brought into sharp contrast the corruption, lies and falsehoods inherent in our systems. Doctors who knew better were powerless and unable to speak up against the lies for fear of losing their licence to practice, and their careers, reputation, incomes, homes, marriages, families and children.

  25. They’re on a roll now. How long until the annual flu shot becomes another mandatory medical intervention? Or the rabies shot, or the Gardasil vaccine ....? Many people in Canada don’t remember this, but just before Covid hit the scene the Big Argument in this country was the hysteria over the measles vaccine. Even after Covid has become endemic and accepted the ignorance, paranoia and moral panic will never go away.
