  1. @briancrawford69 It is full of fuel, do you think holding vertical position in skies like rocket and not moving is cheap thing? It burning fuel in incomparable amounts more than during regular flight. Also you can see all the same videos with weapons from military test sites. No difference.

  3. Actually no. In that case it would be no reasons for such good aviation. Proof: 1990s. After dissolve of USSR, US stopped development of F-22, Russia canceled own projects Su-47 and MiG 1.44 (reborn as J-20 later, because MiG team went to China) while both already had flight prototypes and were ready for serial production. There are more examples.

  4. Because in Russia military industrial complex in state property, so it is cheap, from state point of view it is almost free. While in US it is private business of oligarchs who made money on regular taxpayers, so everything is super expensive. As more expensive — the better.
