  1. @sumaima alvi In world word ‘tea’ mainly known in two different forms: south and north. On south of China it had name ‘te’ (it is how arrived words tea, tee and so on), on north — ‘che’ (it’s how arrived words čai, cha, etc). So, if in your country tea is called close to ‘te’, then more likely you are from one of former western (especially British colony) and tea really could came from England. While if in your country word closer to ‘ch’, then it came not from Europe/England. I just googled why “tea making is the most british job”, because I have zero associations between tea and England. For me it associated only with China and India O_o
