@michaelwu9450 Oh, in Russia there are a lot of anecdotes about Crimean War. As example how British admiral Price shot self when discovered that Russians awaits invaders and already prepared (Kamehameha III, king of of Hawaii, notified Russia about movements of this squadron, about amount of people, ships, weapons, etc — British-French navy squadron was sent to Far East, not only to Crimea).
Crimea War is one one the most popular topic in Russia. Example of incredible bravery. On Russian banknotes (200 rubles, one of the most popular banknote) you can see as main picture — monument to ships which defended Crimea and were sunk. This monument was built in 1905, in honor of 50 years of that war. One of the most famous symbol in Russia, it is not known outside of country, but internally by popularity is equal to Kremlin. A lot of Russian military awards have names of commanders who fought in Crimea. Names of streets, military schools, etc :)

@justasingledoor5178 Russia never declared it as "3 day operation". It said some US general.
Otherwise, when Putin publicly gave orders and goals, he said: “don’t hurry, if it need, you can sat and wait for months, preserve own lives" :-P
Also, there are no logic in "3 days". In 3 days it is possibly only to take lands, but it have no point, because in such case everyone will left alive. So no, by same reason Russia even never hit by military/political leaders, because they must to preserve control over own forces and continue send own meat.

@BradySharrett 1. According to Minsk Agreement Ukraine would lost nothing, Russia for 8 years not recognized DPR and LPR republics because not wanted to ruin UA (whole UA would collapse after that). UA under pressure of West rejected from Minsk Agreement.
2. After Russia came (Feb ‘22) with own military help to DPR and LPR, it publicly declared condition how war can be stopped: rejection from DPR and LPR. UA in March 2022 signed in Istanbul this agreement and Russia immediately declared about withdraw of own forces. But on next day, under pressure of West (UK first, then US who promised military help) UA again rejected from agreement. In result Russia stopped own withdraw and agreed to accept else two additional republics from UA! And whole summer just do nothing, in whole operation participated just 120k soldiers. From UA side almost 1 million. In Autumn Russia agreed to fight seriously.
3. So nowadays regards to clever policy of West, you put UA in situation when Russia promised to exterminate all enemy forces (it means in result will die at least 1-3 million in UA). Whole South-East 100% will be returned back to Russia (UA never had anything common with this territories). And what the main — there are no anymore guarantees Russian troops will not cross western border of UA. Why not? Germany, personally Berbok publicly said that Germany at war with Russia, according to international right, it is deny to send weapons, but EU sent, it means they de jure at war and represent legit target. Else again, Russia according to UN laws, right now have right to erase Berlin or London. And US never will do anything, because will die then. Nobody want 100% to die just for nothing.
Putin already asked West: “Do you understand, what you did?”. What about you Brady, do you understand? Especially with Herr Hitler, do you feel own responsively for what you did then, back in 1938? And now again on side of herr Hitler.
Also, about promises: it is NATO promised not to move to East. That’s why Russia withdrawn own forces from Europe. Now need to return back. Right?

@ronin6100No. Yankees made few wrong assumptions and in result wrong steps. As result:
— Europe left without cheap resources, in moment it is good for Yankees, because they sell own expensive resources there, but on long distance it means Europe will turn into 3rd world poor place, they will be not able to buy not only expensive resources, but goods also. Yankees lost (destroyed) one of the most important market.
— Each 4th country declared about own wish to join to BRICS founded by Putin.
— over half countries declared about strategy to cancel dollar. Including Saudi Arabia, regards to which back in 1970s dollar became main international currency, so-called petrodollar. 25 years ago 90% of international trade was for dollars. Nowadays — maybe near 30%. After US forced Swift to stop operations with Russia, dozens countries joined to Russian/Chinese/BRICS alternative or even launched own versions and now nobody know what all this dozens countries do, no statistic. So, maybe share of dollar even below.
— Russia to provide own defense moved own forces to… everywhere! As example into 26 African countries.

@LeroxYT In Russia in prisons only several thousands of criminals. All rest actually actually in colonies (what in past days called gulag). Colonies are different, but in worst way it will be like big military camp — no difference (unlike Germany internet is allowed only in library, but everyone have illegal phones and use it unlimited). In best way — it will be village where you are forced to sleep during night in own house (even possibly with spouse), while during day you are working in nearest city (de facto it is kind of excel).
So nope, Russians "prisons" not so brutal as they perceived in West (most brutal I suppose in US — nothing similar with movies, as I read in few books from former prisoners).
In Russia exist several prisons, with real cells, which are really brutal, but they are only for extremely dangerous criminals, mainly for manics.
I saw documentary about German prisons — it is literally apartments 😮 More legal stuff, but less freedom than in Russian colonies.

1. Because you listen fake news from MSM. There are no examples of nuclear war threats from Russia. At all. For last years such treats we heard only from US, just few month ago as example they promised to use nukes against Korea. From Russia — never.
Also, don’t forget, it is US in 2002 launched new arm race, not Russia.
2. But it not means such threat non exist just because Russia is silent. Different cultures behave differently. Russia represent culture which from Western point of view is unpredictable (actually pretty predictable, when you understand it). Nukes can be used at any moment actually without any warnings, not against UA (impossibly situation), but against Western countries (except US, with easy).
And it have nothing common with situation on battlefield, it is considered as punishment for criminals:
— countries which sent weapons to UA according to international right represent legit targets;
— after Nurnberg Trial modern regime in UA is outlaw (they declared SS as own heroes, so no place for discussion). Who support it — also outlaw;
— world have example (Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuked by US).

That phrase about “3 days to Kiew” Russia never pronounced. It is invention of some US general and then it became famous in UA for propaganda reasons.
If you read speeches of Putin, when he declared goals, you never find anything similar. Otherwise, you will find directly opposing things, where he openly said: “don’t hurry, save troops, time is irrelevant, better surround and wait instead direct attack, etc”.
Moreover, this sentence (Kiew for 3 days) even have no logic. If you rapidly capture territories somehow, do you understand what it means? It means people who open monuments to WW2 criminals will survive. So no, Russian logic is otherwise: let’s continue this as long as possibly, so more of them came on battlefield and in result zero of they will left and survive.
You need to understand context, after 1945 on that territories war continued for next 10 years, nothing stopped. Was captured several hundreds thousands of them in total. And then in 1956 they were liberated (Khrushev was Ukrainian). It is considered as hugest Soviet mistake, so they survived, born next generations and here we are again in same spot like in 1940s. So nobody in Russia want to repeat that mistake again.
Exactly by this logic Russia never hit by their political leaders (first goal in any conflict actually — commanders and leaders), never hit by support lines from West and have isolated battlefield.

And I laugh because we are living in age of internet, so:
— there are videos everyday how on streets of UA they grab people for mobilization: people screaming, crying, ran away and resist. And nothing similar in RU, where is no mobilization and nobody send new troops already over year, because no needs (even in situation when RU use almost in twice less people).
— in RU borders are opened, in UA they are closed, men and even teens have no right to left country.
— there are videos from all cemeteries. In UA they are all full and grew already in several times for last 2 years, infinity fields from flags. And nothing similar in RU.
— there are Western journalists (they mainly produce fakes, btw) who count obits in UA/RU regional newspapers. They found no any significant loses in RU. And hundreds thousands in UA.
— it is president of UA publicly discussing about needs of new 500k.
— it is UA declared huge offensive to which prepared with NATO for half year, and after several months it ended without any results. They lost all weapons (that’s why now asking new) and people (that’s why discussing about needs of new 500k). While RU just sat behind and did nothing. Even sent soldiers to summer vacations.
— RU use long rage missiles, shot any target anywhere and when want. UA have nothing similar and can’t do anything at all.
— RU have no goal to go into attacks, it have unlimited time, no needs to rush. Army got public order — demilitarization of enemy, so it use basic strategy: sit and use long range attacks. When enemy became weak, send troops to clear territory, mainly without loses. Then new cycle: sit and use long range attacks. Regards to this, loses is extremely rare.

1) All this territories had no renovations for over 30 years. Even before conflict they had infrastructure in disrepair. Do you imagine amount of resources/money/workers which is need to spend on this? Moreover, after conflict they lost all industrial factories also. It is jobless territories. Owning of this lands means Russia for at least 20 years will be stopped in own development and only forced to spend all own resources to restore this lands.
2) You forgot history: after WW2, Reinhard Gehlen (intelligence) surrender to US and then CIA used him and his network to fight against USSR. Network mainly consisted exactly from this people. Officially WW2 end in 1945, but actually in this places in continued for 10 years more, Soviets lost 25k of troops (police, army) and 32k of civilians. And it is happened with network which was built for 4 years. While nowadays US controlled this lands for last 20 years fully (from time of first coup), they born kids with this ideology.
That’s why Russia will not take that lands, it is pointless, too expensive, classical "distraction of attention to an unusable object".
Initially Russia even not wanted to take any if you forgot (by first peaceful agreement proposed by Russia, it not get anything). It is US strategy to force Russia earn more, ideally all ("to take more than you can"). But Russia not so stupid and it will not happen.

Nope.
There are several layers of conflict and need to analyze whole story.
First layer is UA:
1. In Feb ‘22 Russia asked UA to liberate and leave only DPR and LPR, so when they agreed and Russia started to return own forces back to home, West decide to fight and forced UA to continue. It’s how we fall into next stage.
2. On second stage of conflict Russia already declared not liberation of DPR/LPR, but “extermination of all military forces in UA”. Nothing will end until in UA exist army. Also, Russia now agreed to accept any lands, it means at least whole South-East of UA will be returned back to Russia (historical Russian lands populated mainly by Russians).
But conflict in UA de facto started as attempt of NATO to occupy lands around Russia, that’s why NATO must be stopped.
Why Russia removed own forces from Europe? Because got public promise that NATO never will move to East. But NATO lied, violated agreements and put own forces right on Russian borders already. That’s why Russia also declared as one of goal: NATO must return back to status quo in own initial borders. Otherwise Russia will be forced to return own forces back to Berlin.
This is second more important layer. So, everything interesting is even not started yet 😂 On second layer of conflict exist chance that European civilization will be erased. So, maybe you are right, “the endgame starts” 😂🎉🎉

— Erase all cities like you did? With all people inside? With easy, in less than hour, with conventional weapons. And what to do after? 😂 It is territories which Russia perceive as own. What the point to do it on own territory? If this will happens, then it will be your cities.
— To remove leaders? What the point? Okey, there are no leaders, as result no battles, all returns back to homes? But they declares WW2 criminals as own heroes (in West they ignoring this fact, while in Russia it is most important reason for everything). It means they must continue to fight. As more they fight, the less of them will left. And that’s why leaders must be in safety.
Already near one million of them is wiped out. Half of population ran away from country (forever). And this is perfect situation.
Open map, Russian forces almost surround all country, but battles only in limited zone. Now you know why.
There are a bunch of other reasons of course. As example after 1991 in Russian elites arrived a lot of pro-westerns. Now in Russia is going “purges” of them. But it is not so easy process, you can’t just fire a lot of people — where to find replacement, not just ordinary people (like Sunak, British PM who is dreaming to emigrate to Silicon Valley and don’t care about England at all), but real patriots, more —fanatics? So, Russia launched state program, it take best soldiers/commanders from this military campaign and send to public administration courses and then assign on misc positions in state. It is new Russian political elite. New elites for at least next 50 years, people who fight there. Pretty cool idea, isn’t it? And for it you also have no reasons to finish everything fast. In general there are no any reasons to hurry up :)

@ІгорОниськів-ю5ю Вагнеры вообще-то устроили публичное представление, что у них «вот-вот, прямо сейчас, уже почти закончились снаряды». Тем самым в Бахмут без остановки противник слал подкрепления. А в это время на протяжении всей линии фронта РФ усиленно рыла оборону, ставила «зубы дракона». В тоге когда противник очухался, у России появилось несколько тысяч километров укрепленной линии и далее она просто сидела и смотрела как весь т.н. контрнаступ стачивается об неё. Вот тебе и Бахмут. Правда, до сих пор не понял как эта схема получилась? Вроде на поверхности 😂
Что же до разворота Вагнера, то ты хоть в курсе, чего они требовали? Ковровыми бомбардировками сравнять всё вплоть до атлантики. Радуйся что Вагнера до Москвы не доехали, в тот же день они от Киева бы оставили радиоактивную пустыню. Сюрприз, что называется, в России дофига сторонников именно такого решения. От Киева до Мадрида чтобы ничего не осталось. Ибо нефиг. В каждой из этих столиц за последние 10 лет чествовали СС-овцев официальные лица, а потому оно вполне себе допустимо. Увы, в Москве эта точка зрения не популярна (пока).

When it was? Did you read ever how stealth arrived? Soviet scientist Petr Ufimtsev invented it and then USSR published book where described technology, which immediately was translated by US and it’s how arrived first stealth fighters. Why Soviets not classified this work and published it openly (I remind, USSR was communistic state, so all books published not some individual persons/business, but state for free by request of person)?
According to dozens documental films with engineers and developers of radars — “because stealth is less visible only for one length of wave, but we used two, both short and long to improve quality, as result we also saw stealths perfectly like any other object”. So, is stealth really existed and had point? According to inventors — never. Everything what we know about stealth it is only pointless words of US propaganda advert about "invisible fighters". Looks like stupid hoax, because even when they publish some numbers (which definitely looks like fantastic and you never can’t find real source, arrived from nowhere and looks like invented by "journalists"), they talk only about one ideal point of measures, but when you look at fighter from different directions, it already can’t be so stealthy. And it is impossibly situation when radar look at fighter exactly to this ideal point, it always will be different angles from which fighter in thousands times less stealth or non stealthy at all.
So, actually stealth never exist and such Ace existed only in imagination (if you are not pretty backward of course and have no radars which use two waves at same time; against 3rd world country anything will be pretty stealthy).
But, in future stealth will arrive, because in modern labs exist experimental materials which can fully pass radio waves. Maybe after 2050s such materials will be possibly to use. Nowadays exist and used materials which can absorb radars waves, but they non effective (hole in space).
