  1.  @rhodium1096  1. Shoigu is just minister of defense. You totally not understand structure of Russian army. In Russia already for over 300 years General Staff is responsibly for all wars. Shoigu as minister is minor figure, he not defined goals and tasks, and mainly outside of process. Same was true for Soviet Army and Imperial Army. 2. Putin declared two goals for army: 1. Demilitarization. 2. Denazification. First goal means total destruction of military industry (done) and… army. All who took weapons in hands will be liquidated. So there are no reasons to take anything, while enemy attacks, it perfectly liquidated in field. Without needs to take cities (which in result can’t survive) and don’t suffer civilians. So, it is perfect decision.
