  1. True. Americans never had any good anti-missile system, so they signed treaty about limitation of this kind of weapons. Missile on video, or more correctly previous it version, was limited by soviet-american treaty. Russia had right to produce only several dozens of anti-ballistic missiles and install it only near Moscow. In 2001 when US decide that Russia weak and can be attacked, they withdraw from treaty and brought own missiles to Russian border... I hope nobody will sign new treaty with this liars. Because treaties with Americans means nothing. Zero.

  2. This missile from complex which is the last defense ring, there are no needs to install it on ship (actually, there are no any reasons to install anything on ships, at least in Russia). It attack not ICBMs, but already warheads. Warheads is terminal stage of attack, it means all previous defense systems already failed. It is unknown range of this missile, but known range of old soviet missiles which were used on previous generation of this complex (on youtube also exist video of it; missile launched slowly, it need 3 seconds, but then it almost like this just disappear in skies). It was different versions of missiles, with maximum range of 1000 km. But most of missiles had range 300 km. Main goal of missile to attack targets already exactly over zone of protection, so goal to reach space as soon as possible. And this missile reach it in less than 1 minute. P.S. Russian navy nowadays divided on two parts: a) large strategic nuclear submarines which carry ICBMs. It is weapon for global nuclear war only. b) bunch of small ships/submarines which can only protect coasts from small local attacks. Russian military doctrine based on defense, so de facto fleet have no big ships where in theory could be possibly to install such missiles (except literally several ships, which useless during any global war because of low amount). Russian fleet consist mainly patrol boats, corvettes and mine countermeasures vessels, just for defense of coasts, not for war and have no tens of destroyers and cruisers as American Navy for example. It is heritage of communistic times. But already planned destroyers, nuclear cruisers, aircraft careers and so on (already under construction one of largest in world shipyards to produce all of that), thanks to capitalism, which need foreign oil and resources can help with liberty and democracy :)

  3. It is classified. I can only suggest based on known Russian technologies: 1) nuclear reactor. At Soviet times Russia already made nuclear engine with hydrogen as working body. If classical hydrogen + oxygen engine throws out body with speed 4,5 km/s, then nuclear could throws out hydrogen with speed 9 km/s and more. Also they are pretty compact. But this rocket left strange color, so it must be something other than hydrogen. 2) liquid fluorine as oxidizer, also incredible power thing, can left similar color, also very compact engine. But it is very dangerous oxidizer, awful poison (this rocket must be at service prepared to launch for years 24/7, idk, is it possibly to hold fluorine in rocket for years).

  4. Scary — it is when American regime in violation of agreements put own forces into Eastern Germany (is it mean Russia must to return own forces back to Berlin? Question of just one day), then accept former soviet republics into NATO, again in violation of agreements (then why Moscow detached them?), put own tanks and missiles on Russian border.

  6. No. USSR/Russia never sold this complex or it previous generations. Moreover, until 2002 USA limited USSR/Russia with amount/usage of such missiles. It was part of deal which stopped arm race during Cold War (in 2002 US withdraw from deal because decide to install own missiles against N.Korea & Iran Russia in Romania and Poland). It is rocket which can reach space in less than 1 minute. It is hard to imagine how Russia can sell such technologies to anyone. Most of countries can’t in space even in regular way, while this technology for decades more advanced.

  7. Iwan Muhammad Suriakusumah No, not anything. At least not everywhere in world. Small amount of nukes can’t protect. Actually power of nukes in fact, that whole humanity will die and there will be no winers in war. But for this it is need to have modern nukes in huge amount (it is true only for Russia and USA). Main trouble with spreading of nukes across a world in unpredictable behavior. I even not means complicated situations in some countries (like Egypt several years ago where power was seized by de facto terrorists, thanks to Egyptian army which committed coup and returned power to adequate people), I means control over weapons. How to react on launch of missiles somewhere? Russian and USA already several times almost not erased whole planet regards to misc mistakes. As example in 1990s in Norway scientists launched missile to research skies. Stupid govt and scientists not notified about that launch Russia, while this missile was former American Trident missile (can carry nuclear warhead). So, when they launched it, Russian radars and computers of course didn’t knew that it is now scientific missile, they recognized it as Trident. So, computers proposed for Yeltsin to launch all nuclear weapons against NATO. And Yeltsin even entered codes, he not pressed “red button” because missile was just one, not swarm. Do you see, how close we all was from total annihilation of planet in some day just 25 years ago? One of a lot similar examples. Nowadays when nuclear club is small, countries in some way control everything and each other. It will be impossible when club will be bigger. It means planet will be erased. Right now everyone is angry because US installed on small missiles small nuclear warheads. In past everyone knew that nukes could be only on large missiles, now nobody know what kind of missile is fly, each can have nukes. How to react on such launches? Extremely dangerous situation. You propose to made it else more complicated. P.S. About “in politics anything can change”... it reminds for me Japanese cartoons, in they cartoons there are no good or bad characters. With time good character can make evil things and vise versa, evil character can make some good things. It is example of different culture, Japanese never been Christians, especially Orthodox, so in they culture good/evil things not separated, world not divided on black and white, so people can be both good and bad based on own benefits for current moment. But it is not how everything works everywhere in world. Classical example how Saudi Arabia came to Russia and proposed contracts on hundreds billions if only Russia left Syria. Saudis failed to predict Russian behavior because was sure that “anything can change buy”, but it is not true. Well known mistake in psychology.
