  2. Of course, Russia had plans to launch it years ago. And each year postponed for one year. This station initially had some scientific devices from EU, but because of so-called "sanctions", EU decide not to participate, so Russia built own and it took years. Similar situation with Mars mission. Russia built heavy landing and at same time scientific platform, while EU built rover, everything was done for launch in 2020, but because of epidemic launch postponed for next “window” (for Mars it is once in 2 years), while in 2022 US denied for EU to participate in that missions, so nothing flew. Now Russia want to build own rover.
