@johanhuovinen8412 Lol, why? Even at peak of operation in Syria, when ISIL controlled 95% of territory of country (everything except two cities), Russia used there not more than 15 thousands.
In UA right now there are ~650 thousands, from which members of Army is 150 thousands, rest are volunteers and 300k of mobilized reserves (retired). Russia not used own forces, even not half, even not quarter, even not 10%…
Russian Army — it is 2,4 million. Plus reserves from retired ~25 millions (retired not means they are old, majority are young men below 30yo).
Russia can allow for self several more operations like UA.
P.S.
Army of Georgia — 37 thousands.

@Jonaslarsson8 Move away? Facepalm. Do you imagine how it is complicated?
— you lost friends
— you lost family
— you need to have a money (and for first time you will have no work)
— obtaining of new citizenship can be complicated (very likely years)
— you don’t know language (and never will be in same level like locals, never).
— you move to another culture, about which you know nothing: you not watched local cartoons when was kid, you never listen their musicians, you read another books than locals, you watched another movies, as result you not understand any local cultural references, you not understand second meanings, jokes, you don’t know how to behave self, what is appropriate and what is not.
— if you have kids, just imagine stress for them
