Estimated everything, from ionization and density of atmosphere to specially developed tracking systems and math models. Liammadden7572: weren’t for science. Do you know what really weren’t for science — landing of human on Moon, right after this already did robots and when instead was better to launch some scientific program, like Soviets with Venus or developing space stations (do you know, that US nowadays on ISS repeat experiments which already did Soviets on own space stations 40 years ago?)

  5. What Z programs? Do you means nuclear tug Zeus? Why less? It is literally next level in space exploration, it will allow to freely travel in Solar System. To Mars just in 1 month and then back! Instead of year with rocket without possibility to return back. Zeus is the most important project currently in space industry. Russia developing technology of nuclear reactors for space from 1970s, so lot generations (latest one represent 1 MWh reactor), 30 years of experiments on space stations (started at Mir, continued on ISS), it is much more complicated and more important than whole this Venus program. So, Zeus is future.

  6.  @Amradar123  Freedom? 😂 Classical totalitarian regime. Thanks God I was lucky to run away from it. And crashed not system, it was Gorbachev with Yeltsin. First one wanted to remove second one, so second one found nothing better than just to leave USSR. Classical political crisis which had nothing common with system.
