Russia invented space stations… new one will be 9th Russian station and planned as 1) repair & refill station for satellites 2) middle station between Earth and future international Moon base which Russia and China developing together. 3) for scientific purposes. As example on last two Russian space stations Russia for 20 years developed and finally finished cool system for powerful nuclear reactors. Regards to this now Russia developing nuclear tug which can fly fast and do it for years, so it opens road for colonization of Solar system. It impossibly to do with classical chemical engines, only with plasm/ion which need powerful nuclear reactor. Few years ago Russia successfully tested 1MWh reactor. Incredible power.

  2. Project actually started in 2006, by order of South Korea, when they asked Russia in help to develop first stage for own rocket. In 2009 work was finished and Korean rocket launched. After that Russia decide to finish rocket for self as future replacement for Proton (it is denied from 2025 because use toxic fuel). In 1990s it existed two different projects of different rockets which were canceled on early stages before of development. They all had name Angara and have nothing common with this rocket.

  3. Waste of money is rockets of SpaceX — 100% to oligarch Elon Mask. Each launch of SpaceX means that on streets of US will arrive additional several thousands of homeless people. While this rocket is built by state, so it is free for Russia :)
