@doddsalfa Far right, fascism? Putin returned 75% of Russian economic in state property, it is exactly same economical system which existed during Stalin’s era: 2/3 is communism, 1/3 is capitalism.
Ideology — same internationalism. In 2006 Putin founded BRICS — union of Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa. Goal — independent from colonial empires financial and economical system.
Just week ago to Russia came leaders of 45 African countries (!), discussion — how to resist to modern western neo-colonialism. Moreover, Russia right now in UA fight against classical fascists and nazis (they SS declared as own heroes, deny languages, last year burned 11 million books as said itself), even all same countries as 80 years before — full former Hitler’s coalition + several colonial empires.
USA in everything is opposing to Russia. Country even born as opposition to Europe, so Russia and US are like two polar points, only Europe somewhere between and have elements from both.
One had slavery, another — never.
One had race segregation — another arrived as multi-race union.
One born capitalism, another — communism.
One represent Protestants (reject initial Christianity), another — Orthodoxes (initial Christianity).
One in Cold War fought for preserving colonialism, another — liberated colonies.
…
Even exist funny psychological tests. As example situation: you return back to home, home in fire, inside your parent and spouse, you can save only one, your action? In USA 99% choose — spouse. In Russia 99% choose parent. So different values and mentality of both nations :)

@doddsalfa Else again, Putin returned to Russia communistic system, 75% of Russian economic (companies, factories) in state property. Preserved free medicine, free education, some categories of people even get free apartments from state in own property. Not so cool like in USSR, but close.
Everywhere in world poverty is more than in USSR because in USSR it non existed :D State provided to anyone own apartments, for free, medicine only for free, education only for free, everyone had guaranteed work, in country was no homeless and zero unemployment rate. Everyone had near similar level of live (1985): salary less than ₽80 (₽70 is minimal) had 4.8%, over ₽400 — 3,1%.
Back in 1990s when into Russia came capitalism, it is true, arrived poverty and even misery with millions of homeless. Statistic from 2000: 42% in poverty, 20% in misery..
But after Putin restored economical system, this is gone. Nowadays in Russia misery is 0%, poverty — 9,8% (2023).
Far less than in USA where are not just poverty, there are even homeless everywhere (!), total misery, people dreaming about own apartments/house (in Russia 87% have in own property apartments and almost each family also have summer house), forced to pay student loans (in Russia people even never heard about this), etc.
About oligarchy — Putin removed, sent to prison or expelled all oligarchs. Back from 2008 in Russia there are no oligarchs at all. While in US there are oligarchy everywhere, from Elon Musk to Trump.

@mzk7774 Of course everyone afraid. Said that and lose everything what you have :-/ As closer country to orbit of U.S.A, there more people afraid to talk what they really think.
But about this law — imagine someone will go to South Korea/Germany/etc, make this surgery there, and then return back. What to do? Russian govt (not Putin, he is just president) accepted this law on emotions, as they said “in last 10 years in U.S. amount of such surgeries increased in 50 times, up to 1 million 640 thousands in 2022, from which 340 thousands is among teens (13-17yo)”. Just imagine, all that 340k teens give no birth. Okey, US population growing regards to random migrants, but what about rest? But this is emotions. What to with people who change sex abroad? And when in Russia people ask similar questions, nobody have answer.
What next? Let’s imagine in ID (passport) you are man, but in really already female. And you made some crime. What to do with you? Especially it is actual for Russia, in Russia women and men get different punishment (e.g. men can get life sentence, women — not; for men exist prisons, for women — no, only camps and colonies). Maybe something similar exist in Netherlands too, idk. So lot questions actually. So, from one side law is good, from another side — unclear.
My opinion — to avoid this need to ban Hollywood movies (they add propaganda of this literally in each movie, impossibly already to watch anything).
