Different countries have different prices on exactly same goods, that’s why impossibly to compare countries just by amount of GDP, it is pointless. So, two years ago Germany had 5th economy in world, while Russia 6th. In 2023 according to World bank statistic, Russia became 5th economy in world and 1st in Europe, while Germany became 6th. And looks like by results of this year Germany will be already just 7th. Also exist else one statistic — industrial production only. Russia there is 4th in world (top-5: China, India, US, Russia, Japanese). Also exist statistic by amount of different production (it is when you produce everything, from space ships to nuclear icebreakers). Russia there on 2nd place, after China and even above US (they for last decades lost own industry, as example they already even can’t produce Boeing and F-35 alone, without 3rd countries, while Russia produce). Germany even not in top-10, it have no dozens industries, from own processors to space ships.
