  1. Did they returned investments? USSR developed high speed trains but not launched any because… too expensive and unprofitable. Same story with supersonic civilian aircraft. USSR and then France developed and launched, but then both canceled — too expensive and unprofitable. US also developed, but even rejected to launch, impossibly to return investments.

  2. @后宫后 All warheads fall from space with same speed, even V-2 back in 1940s. I told about civilian airplanes, like Tu-144 and Concorde.
