@slavcpanigaz846 Cool story, bro :) 1) Whole Europe fought on side of Reich, from France and Norway (last defenders of Berlin) to Finland and Spain (USSR fought there from 1936). Even Swiss secretly sent own help. Only Serbia and Greece resisted, all rest happily joined. 2) Over 80% of this united forced were eliminated by Soviets. 3) Until 1944 US had trade with Reich, e.g. supply them with fuel over Spain. Second Front they opened only in 1944 when Churchill started hysteric that soon Soviets will get whole Europe. 4) At the end they had separate negotiations with Reich discovered and prevented by Soviets. 5) Kwangtung Army was defeat by Soviets, captured over 600 thousands, it is how Japan surrender, just lost own forced. US predicted that war will continue for a lot of more years. 6) Soviets fought against Japan from 1937, e.g. protected Mongolia. Helped to China which before helped to liberate from UK, France and rest.

Inside Kremlin there are palaces where exist hall with Russian leaders of last 1000 years, but there are only leaders during which territories grew... There are no Gorbachev, no Yeltsin, no Khrushchev, no Brezhnev, no Lenin, but Putin is already there :) It is hall of immortals :)

@simonlee6688 And what about Kabul? Are you one of that guys who living in parallel universe? Because in our universe Afghanistan (close Soviet ally, first country which recognized USSR and country which wanted to joined to USSR) asked Soviet help against radical islamists (Afghanistan was secular state, while islamists is invention of Brzeziński as we know nowadays from his own interview, he born all this movements). After 13 requests Soviets agreed to help. It was hard to ignore, at least because half of Afghan people is literally relatives of people from USSR (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan — it is same nations, everyone had in Afghan brothers or uncles and so on). So, Soviets came, together with Afghan army took under control whole country, defeat radicals and all their foreign advisors and then went away. After that Afghanistan controlled own country for a lot of years and fall already in 1990s, literally because left without supplies from Moscow. USSR gave to Afghan fuel and ammo.

And why Japan failed to capture Mongolia?)

Actually UA in beginning had more than gave West. Largest tank army (more only in US), largest air fleet (more only in US), army more than have EU, a lot of better SAM systems, a lot of powerful tactical missiles, guns and rest more than have whole EU and so on. They only had no a lot of sea fleet, but it is irrelevant. Existence or non-existence of West means not a lot.

It was not a trap. In Russia now courts open cases against people who failed to protect borders. Locals was sure that UA will not move there, that’s why nobody even closed borders. Why? Because Putin said to Kiev — each region which you will try to use for offence against us you will lose. Clear and basic logic. If you don’t want to lost Sumy region, never even try to move to Kurk region. Russia itself not moved own forces from there to UA. Any intelligence men of course do that. UA itself created this "trap" for self. Unclear about what they think. Russia literally use just 5% of own forces, what the point to go there when there are a-priory no chances?

Same question about US and UK, because it is also pretty funny). Also, who defeat Kwangtung army after which Japan quit from war? UK, US, China or somebody else?)
