  1. In video they not said two additional functions of this plant — it produce heat for city (in Russia centralized heat system) and desalination of water. This plant supply city with a) electricity b) heat c) drink water.

  2. gamingfox98 where you get this bs?! For Chernobyl (with RMBK class reactors) existed special instruction where Russians described, what not to do for explosion. When Ukrainians violated instruction (actually several levels of it) and removed rods, they got predicted explosion. Life demonstrated, that “instruction can’t help against fool”, so next plants Russians developed already with assume of fools everywhere, so new plants really can’t be exploded. P.S. After inspection of Fukushima, Russians also wrote instruction what Japanese need to do for safety. On Fukushima-1 they ignored Russian instruction and got disaster, on Fukushima-2 otherwise, they did everything and as result during disaster preserved electricity, pumps, died just one man and they saved reactor.

  3. Actually we learning a lot from Chernobyl. 1. If in instruction is described “do not remove rods” then “do not remove rods” 2. Do not give modern technologies to Ukrainians.

  5. Because actually military reactors and reactors for power plant are very different. Moreover, reactor is just reactor, around it a large complex of misc systems, which absolutely different on military ships and power plants. Using sub is possibly, for a short time, but it is stupid and very expensive. Moreover, this plant not only produce electricity, it also produce drinking water for whole city and heat for city.

  6. There are no Ukrainians, so it is not Chernobyl. Also there are no Japanese, so it not even Fukushima (actually predicted disaster by Russian inspection with perfect instruction what Japanese need to do, to avoid it).

  7. I tried to watch it twice, laughs from first minutes and stopped. It is not about Chernobyl, but about some parallel universe. Incredible stupid and full of funny mistakes. People which deal with disaster are alive, working in International Atomic Energy Agency and HBO even not asked them about details. They even not watched a lot of documental movies where they described details and not read reports. Facepalm. So, HBO with easy can make s2, s3 and even s10. When you make movie just from own head, it is not complicated.

  9. Reuben Dobbs After Ukrainians violated Russian instruction and removed rods, so happened Chernobyl disaster, Russians developing new plants which impossibly to explode even if you want. No connections at all. You even can fall on plane on this vessel, it developed even for such situation. This is safer and better than using coal plants, only one alternative for that far region. Moreover, it is perfect decision for rest world. This plant produce not only electricity, but drinking water from salt ocean. Whole city supplied with water by it.

  10. In Russia actually exist project of undersea city in Arctic. Very large project, but it need a lot of new technologies, so it is far future, somewhere in 2040s. As example that cool Russian cruise missile with nuclear engine (so it can fly as much as it want) is result of this project. Scientists actually developed small nuclear source of energy for undersea city.
