  1. It is lower than anywhere in EU. There are also need to go into details. First of all, Russia in this rating add not only real cases, but so-called "attempts". And attempts it is not when somebody really wanted, but failed, but a lot of other cases. As example yesterday several guys beat another guy on street, so they now arrested for attempt, just because they fought not "one vs one", but "few vs one". Almost whole this rating consist only attempts. Second — most of that real homicides happened at home between close people (e.g. wife + husband), it is not situation when gangs attacked on street random person. So, unlike EU, people are pretty safe on any street at any city and any time of day or night.

  2. About prisoners: where you got this numbers? 😮 In Russia over 800 thousands was near 15 years ago. In 2023 it is — 266 thousands. Also, actually in prisons (cells) only few thousands, all rest in camps (colonies). Cams are of different kind, but some of them just regular villages where you are allowed to work in nearest city during day and must to return only during night (de facto it is kind of exile). Prisons in Russia only for really dangerous guys (and there are no prisons for women at all).

  4. just read on wiki, library of Kirbi after his death — 12 thousands of books. Yep, poor guy. At same time I can’t afford for self all books which I want even with income of software developer (few months ago was forced to hack one electronic library to download few books which non exist on pirate sites) 😂 I even can’t imagine cost of such library. Over $1 million I guess.
