  3. I am neither but the answer is yes. Remember vice president Kamala of USA formally welcome Ukraine to join NATO in Nov 2021 ? NATO knew Russia opposed it, still the invitation. Worse, NATO planned to install nuclear missiles in it after Ukraine becomes a member ( Cuba crisis all over again ). In the end, there is no peace, only war.

  7. Divide and conquer ? Maybe Russia is also thinking the same tactics. Ukraine attacks the east bank of Dnipro River, while Russia continues their push to the rest of Donbas region after Bakhmut. The one which could do battles on two fronts simultaneously would win the offensive.
