  1. A good review of boot basics! Agreed, US Military "approved" boots are lacking. I'm running Lowa Tibet, stiff and heavy but what I need to keep my feet semi happy in rough terrain. I see Nike and Reebok coming out with these so called tactical or military boots and they just make me laugh.
