  2.  @pk7ghalm23  , I'm a contractor and have worked in upgrading some or these older condo complexes and the HOA boards are all the same. All they care about is their money, not the property or the occupants. Most of the board members here don't even live on the property, they have their units in the vacation rental pool and make even more money.

  9. Greed caused that collapse and killed all those people. The governor and mayor looked the other way when the building inspectors found structural problems. Because of the greed and political financial influence by those property owners 150 people died a horrible death. They had the funds to repair that building but didn't.

  10. They should be worried.  These types of problems are widespread, same structural problems in older concrete building where I live. This is their wakeup call to get out now!
