  1. This is very reminiscent of the half hearted coup in Turkey in 2016 which Erdogan used to purge Turkey of all that were not loyal to the government. Hundreds were jailed and many executed in the year following. Likewise Trump's half hearted coup will result in the arrest of hundreds of Trump supporters that stormed the US capital. One by one they will be arrested, arms confiscated, fined, jailed and be labeled a felon for the rest of their lives. This was set up masterfully by Trump and there will be no pardons forthcoming.
