  1. Most of her punishments were exactly what real parents should be doing. Consequences, just like she faces now for her actions. Denying her kid lunch for not doing chores or other similar punishments is totally appropriate. You're a parent not a little kids buddy, those who disagree go read a Dr Spock book on his failed ideas of how to raise obedient respectful children. Fail.

I think you spend all that time to say one minute of wisdom which is people like to know that there was an effort made to rescue, I don't think everybody should lose their chance to make it to the top over one person's misfortune just like when climbers fall to their death everyone doesn't stop climbing and not everybody is pronounced dead instantly climbs are going even when medical personnel are being summoned, aside from that, this is mountain climbing and this is a man's world endeavor in a world that is now pussified. This is a climb where you expect to die and hope you can beat the odds and whether he's left behind and dies horribly or falls to his death or freezes to death or his lungs freeze it's never going to be nice. It's about making it to the top and everyone from the assistant to the climber have agreed to this risk prior to this endeavor. S*** happens
