Too short of a clip and totally out of context. It's not called being human. I have and keep a perfect beat. In context of the overall song I use my judgement, based on my style of playing.
Which is not always in alignment or agreed to as what they want, & I might get told to tone it down a little.
Play a cleaner, simpler beat. Not to confuse them lol Etc.
So if put on your computer out context to the music or whole song, all my beats would be wrong, since your machine has reduced me to a beat keeper, & no longer a contributing musician.
Which aligns perfectly with certain people who, like Michael, the jam leader the other night at Sugar Mill thinks. When right before the next 5 guys get up & try to improvise, mesh, some blues together.
He leans over onto the drummers side of the jam & says matter of factly:
Remember!
"Your job is to back up the musicians!"
This tells you enough right there in his reasoning, how to see his limitations. But also could implicate the same reasoning in moder dry minstrel rock tunes. Being some egocentric
'musicians' lean towards elimination of a band member that was previously often an integral ingredient to song creation, but now just backs up the others geniuses at work, or at play, pardon the pun.👆🤟

Buddy Rich & John Bonham are the two greatest drummers who ever lived. I didn't say percussionist, timpani players, Congo, or anything else.
So please don't try to convolute my statement. Just the two best drummers, now change my mind.
-------------------------------
Meanwhile, during your exercise in futility trying to create better drum tracks by creating more perfect beat tracks, don't forget that the WAY the drummer plays is a creation of music while drumming to melody. Therefore they aren't playing wrong or right in their beats, it's a style of playing those drums, it's not a computer decision, or a Supreme Court decision, or anyone elses truth that has priority. A drummer may play against the beat, or double time for a minute or play in synchopation varying the beats accents, kapow, dotted eighth notes, dotted sixteenth notes, swing or the always corny dotted triplets. If the person has been reduced to a rhythm only & nothing more. Then they are click trak incarnate.
(I understand that on a boring straight beat in a boring section of boring music, the drummer is doing nothing but keeping a beat which could go onto this program. I'm not referring to the exception, though I recognize it exists.)
Their more or most intricate playing being put on this machine is no different than if you put every instrument on there, (which you might, but for this example, no.) It would destroy all of the instruments random, syncopated, off the cuff {oh, oh, incoming synonyms: creativity,
imaginativeness,
ingeniousness, innovativeness,invention,
modernity, newness,
non-conformity-me, & 2 more, soon...
So it's more than coincidental I would argue, that it's only being done to drum music, that it's only the percussion instrument & it's master technician who operates it, that is losing his or her vote re: the bands sound, style, flow, forcefullness direction...Vibe.
Coincidence?
Think again or I think not, saving brain for syncopated beats 😉.
But it sure isn't because there's any logical argument besides the exception again of a terrible drummer or a specifically musak elevator song.
But it sure as heck isn't for use of logic or persuit of Willy Wonkas Golden Clickit.

Can we draw a comparison not so drum oriented? So the skeptic in some of you can digest this claim w/o feeing un/or in-validated.
So my example, if you will, let's draw an equivalence. I proffer, that how often these non-lyric writing, non-singing drummers in bands are looked at with the same respect & given the same equality for their offerings or skills solely as drummers = as often as Divorced Father's are given by Mother the Band Leader & Family Court Judge the Maestro the same respect, when they are trying to get Joint Child Custody.🥁=🤡🙈🥺🤔
They want & deserve equality!
They're lucky if they even get two unsupervised weekend visits per month.
Or two 'unsupervised by quantomizer' tracks per album.
A decision making relevance to give final input as to what's their final & unique sound of their playing style.
-------------------------------
As a kid, Buddy Rich once said to me, kid, "a really good drummer does not need a wall of drums to create a wall of sound".
-------------------------------
In his grave years later RIP, he then added with a gaspy voice -
"..or a click-tacky Quantomizer to create a really good sounding drummer." ..
