So I say this with chills going up my spine as I watch this video.
I was excited, intrigued and saddened and a little bit mad, because I always felt V. Putin had some abilities both inate and learned from his KGB days. I never thought of him as a
pompous rich kid, more of an ass kicker, and a 'get it done', decisive type of man, one who grins at all the bs he sees in western democracies that makes them impotent in vital decision making moments, plus the usual "we get it done the Russian way" stuff of course.
So my Russian vocabulary is limited, and it left me during this film.
I see a modern day Rasputin style poisoning of a man who just won't go away.
Alexi Navalny.
The thorn in the side of an otherwise delayed but not quite dead perestroika.
Now after this video. I can only say & understand one word in Russian, it came up every so often during the film, with huge meaning, impact and connection to this delay of perestroika. Synonymous to the problems, and the future of Russia entering the world's modern 21st century nations, - "V. Putin".
So understanding that one word?
Well, it told me all I needed to know about Russia right now.
Time Russians add a new CnOBO to their political language.
E.d. My father used to say "never fight a war on 2 fronts, especially if one of them is Russia."
Putin now faces this same battle with the world and at home.
To win this for Putin, all roads lead back to Stalingrad
