  5. This election had so many things wrong with it there's not one thing to pinpoint to as the sole reason. Trump got a lot of passes for things Harris got overly scrutinize for. Harris' campaign could've done better. Democrats are too honest to where their valid criticisms of Harris were being heard by Republicans and Independents. Republicans lie convincingly a lot of times, and it was being heard by everyone, but Democrats didn't push back on it enough. The back and forth character attacks and culture wars buried the actual substance of the policies offered by each. Some Trump voters did know about his proposed tariffs until they had already casted their votes and election was over. The high favorability of Harris' economic plan wasn't getting through to people because they were still hung up on her association to Biden. Now that the dust had settled, there are voter's remorse all over social media, and how Harris could've done better is becoming clearer.
