I think they have just given up because of the obstructionists and road blocks in the Senate. I'm not an ageist, but I gotta keep it real. They don't have the energy to fight and are at that point of their lives to just "let it be." It's up to the voters to fight. Like what Elizabeth Warren said, Democrats needs to unseat two Republicans in the Senate to gain a majority, and not a slim majority like what they have now, and things will get done. But they still need to retain the House also, but it's going to be an uphill battle.
