Not seeing an authoritarian Democratic party, but we are seeing a Democratic party that stands by law enforcement doing their job holding you right wing extremist lunatics somewhat accountable for your actions due to your collective amnesia that law and order still exists. So far, the majority of capital rioters are handed light sentences and no official has been charged. If Democrats are authoritarian, you'd think most capital rioters would be sent to Gitmo along with Republican officials by now. An authoritarian Democratic party would just bulldoze legislation through, but they can't even get the votes to pass legislation. Maybe open your eyes to reality a bit and you might realize what things actually are.

  5. There are already high ranking officers defying orders from the White House. And the retired generals also suggests the polarized political climate had already infiltrated the armed forces to where it's causing disarray among certain chain of commands. Not sure how accurate or inaccurate these are. When I was serving in Iraq back in 2003, politics was sort of like a taboo subject. We just didn't engage in it. But if Trumpism is running rampant in the military unchecked, then it should be worrisome.

  7. Actually, it's not fear mongering at all. It's actually raising a red flag and there is an urgency for necessary actions to take in an attempt to divert and diminish the growing threat. We would rather it just be fear mongering and exaggerated.

  8. I think you are grossly naive or put too much confidence in people in the military to uphold their duties. I'd rather heed the warnings than just chalk it to exaggeration. Lower ranking officers or enlisted may become radicalized to where they may defy orders from higher ranks. And yes, we don't know how threatening court martial will play into it yet but it may affect readiness and cause a slew of other problems.
