Diseases are going to happen. God gave man a mind and necessary "materials" to put together a vaccine. I'm a Christian, but not a right wing evangelical nut job.

@salem1281 Yes, that's true according to monotheistic worldviews. But it's more political than religious to right wing evangelicals, and they are just using "freedom of religion" as an avenue to secure their political beliefs on the vaccine.

Then what do you call Fox News?

All the toxicity was already existing in the US before Trump. Trump put it on steroids.

People like her are an embarrassment to the religious community.

I agree even though I'm a Christian theist. Right wing has lost traditional Biblical messaging by intertwining it with their political views. The Bible even commands us to obey "man's laws" for His sake, including separation of church and state. Mixing the Christian faith with our political views just muddies the water. And casts all sorts on confusion and renders it vulnerable to direct contradiction and criticism.
2
Wrong. This is a "don't impose authoritatively your religious views onto others" country.

Perpetuating Trump's Big Lie will definitely earn them a spot at Judgment to answer to before the Ultimate Judge Himself.

Biblican texts has a historical context to it.

I'm sure the general consensus within the medical, scientific and virological communities have already considered other disagreements and challenges to the vaccine, and all have come to the same conclusion that the vaccine is effective at fighting off the virus. Not only scientific data backs it up, but also the number of hospitalized Covid patients have the data to back it up. Anyone else who is still challenging the vaccine is just fringe and at this point no amount of evidence will satisfy their extreme skepticism.
1
@arlenemuhammad9853 They have been including breakthrough cases, but the situation is so dire with the hospitalization of the unvaccinated, and the vast majority of breakthrough cases has shown little to no symptoms, it's pointless to tally breakthrough cases when we should be focusing on saving lives. Well, until you can provide evidence that there is a all out media campaign to silence disagreeing medical physicians then it'd just one more conspiracy.

@barbarajohnson3876 The past 4 presidents have been Christians, that I know of, and Biden is Catholic. Nope, no Sharia-like laws yet, you still get freedom of religion and separation of church and state.
1
That's uncalled for. Just because some nutjob wanna excuse her vaccine skepticism by invoking her religious views. Now the question of the existence of God should be taken up from a philosophical approach, and point of view; otherwise "there is no God" is just a bold unsubstantiated assertion as "God exists."

Worldly ideologies can't cause anything. It's human behavior.
1
Nope, that's a modern day atheistic myth. Jesus was one of the best attested ancient historical figures to come out of beginning of first century, supported by contemporary textual evidence and secular textual evidence like Tacitus, an ancient Roman historian.
1
@shauntaylor7654 To say Jesus is a myth is to discount all the historical evidence for his attested existence. You'd have to discount every piece of evidence, which I'm sure people have tried.
