  2. Sadly, it is almost certain at this point that American democracy will eventually meet its demise. Congress is filled with obstructionists that will allow authoritarianism to proceed. Red states are already banning together and following each other's blue prints of passing restrictive laws, the more of this is happening the more likely it will render a federal government useless and unnecessary. The Supreme Court is aiding and abetting the red states. That's why it's an urgency we can't ignore.
