Rittenhouse probably weighed the outcomes before bringing his gun around angry protesters and he expect either A) everyone bows down to him out of fear, or B) get chased down and risk getting subdued given the current climate of America's mass shooting problem. He likely weighed in B as more likely which could put him in imminent danger, but he went ahead and looked for that opportunity in the slim chance of outcome A, ignored the likelihood of B with the possibility of him fearing for his life and, or he can subdue that fear with adrenaline rush in carrying out that opportunity. Outcome B did come about. This is why Rittenhouse is guilty in my eyes because if he genuinely was afraid for his life, he would've done all he can to not put himself in that situation. He was looking for opportunity but it went wrong.

You think he expected everyone to bow down to him out of fear because he's armed? Only two outcomes can come of it, and the most likely outcome came of it. It's not rocket science.
