He should've stayed home

Being innocent in the eye of the law does not absolve how society will judge you. Rittenhouse is the product of bad parenting and America's gun culture. Oh but what about him trying to protect property and rendering aid. Ok, and the product of unnecessary vigilanteism that costed two lives.

Lol. Yup, expect civil lawsuits from the dead mens' families coming Kyle's way.

Kyle's mom Karen miss piggy looking thing says she hopes Kyle will do it again if acquitted.

Yawn, lame, and old.

@calebhernandez8358 The dead man's criminal past didn't come to light until after everything had happened and he was dead. Then, there wouldn't need to be a trial then, would it?
2
Anyone trying to be George Zimmerman is doing wrong in that alone.
2
@merccodcompetitiveplayer2184 The jury is still deliberating at this moment. So don't be quick to let him off the hook.
2
@hugonobody3352 No it won't. That's why some states have "stand your ground" laws and Castle doctrine laws that protects people from criminal prosecution. Kyle isn't protected in any of those as he was seeking vigilanteism and put himself in situations where he has to defend himself.

You'll still get prosecuted for murder for killing a known child predator.

Ok, Candace.

Yup. The burden of proof falls solely on the prosecution, but since Rittenhouse took the stand to testify, that shifted the burden of proof to the defense to prove his self-defense claim. That was a mistake, because now the defense is trying to get a mistrial. And the jury is allowed to convict him on lesser charges like manslaughter which can still carry a hefty penalty.

@calebhernandez8358 Kyle's on trial for self-defense, not for killing known criminals which he didn't know at the time. Still doesn't save him from how society will judge him.

@Anuskasv0 Who allows their 17 year old go to a hostile environment with an AR-15? Did the mom give him good luck kiss and pack him a bag of lunch on his way there?
1
@calebhernandez8358 If I killed Scott Peterson for killing his pregnant wife, does that mean I'm justified?
1
@calebhernandez8358 Where did I defend the rioters? This video is about Rittenhouse. And the rioters didn't kill anyone.
1
@cmiller0116 Sure. But he shouldn't have put himself in that situation in the first place. Let law enforcement do their jobs.

@Gardstyle35 I agree. Everyone should've stayed home that day, but only Kyle is on trial for taking two people's lives. I'm not saying he should've stayed home because he has no rights being there. I'm saying that because he wouldn't have to be going through all this at 17 or 18 years old while still having his whole life ahead of him. Make bad decisions, suffer the consequences.

@Ozfreerider_adventures Look at how going somewhere where he can legally go turned out for him. He's being accused of murder, being tried as an adult, terrified of going to prison. Even if he is acquitted of all charges, he still carries the weight of infamy and possibly multiple civil lawsuits he'll continue to fight or end up paying for for a long time. Sure you'll have people making him out to be a hero but look how long that lasted for George Zimmerman. He'll be forgotten in a few years.
1
@Gardstyle35 He's already suffering the consequences.
1
@merccodcompetitiveplayer2184 No, he's within his legal rights to carry that firearm at 17 years old as ruled by the judge because of the way Wisconsin laws are written. Also, the jury can still convict him on downgraded charges like manslaughter instead of intentional homicide which can still carry a hefty penalty. He'll be lucky to be acquitted of all charges which doesn't seem farfetched given how clownish the trial went.
