  1. It's all performative. They have to show some outrage or the cult will oust them and go after them like they did Liz Cheney, Kinzinger, and Mitch McConnell. It reminds me of when Kim Jong Il, father of current NK leader, passed away the North Koreans were forced to publicly weep and wail at his funeral, some were genuine grieving, a lot were performative because you can be thrown in jail for not showing grief.
