Brown person praying = "Muslim terrorist! Aaaaahhhhhhhh!" White person praying = Good Christian boy/girl

Please, nonreligious, don't group all Christians together with these bigots. Be specific about which group you mean to be bigotted. It's right-wing Evangelicals, and they make only a certain percentage of Christians. I find their teachings appalling also, as a Christian.

High school sports teams are allowed to huddle together for prayer before a game starts and there's no outrage. This is just another case of freaking out over seeing Muslims.

Not allowing prayers in schools is just as bad as allowing only Christian prayers, and promotes secular tyranny.

"Christians" is too broad. It's actually diverse. You mean " right wing Evangelicals," to be specific, then it's understandable.

When atheists says that "God" is like a "sky daddy," or "flying spaghetti monster," or any ridiculous concepts: they are merely using a rhetorical device to convey that such a concept is absurd. But "God" in the theistic sense, as conveyed by theologians, is suppose to be a coherent concept when we dive into philosophy, such as epistemology and ethics. In this case, "God" is a Supreme moralistic (moral superiority) entity to which we have epistemic knowledge of. Not only that, do we also have epistemic knowledge of an ultimate beginning of the universe?

You think that is a shocker to Conservatives. Imagine saying the pledge of allegiance but instead of "Under God," say "Under Allah," Conservative heads would be exploding everywhere. Wait...didn't that already happen?
2
Nope, then you're promoting secular tyranny.
2
Great. Subject students to secular authority. You're no better.
2
@orianablack6809 Good grief. You're no better than a theocratic government.
2
I thought it was the spaghetti monster.
1
Great. Now we're subject to secular authority.
1
You could be right.

Nobody believes that. Not even Christians. Rational Christians believes that God doesn't "need" anything as he is Omniscient.

Public schools that are government funded.

If we are mere material, of that we are made up of, how do we account for objective morality (the idea that there are such circumstances of human actions to which we judge right from wrong, and such idea is either right or wrong regardless of what anyone else thinks, i.e. Jeffrey Dahmer may believe that killing people is ok, objectively murder is still wrong and why he is prosecuted, etc.)

The militant atheists wants to ban student prayers in school. What next? Ban churches and burn Bibles?
1
@xboxonevideos7685 Secular tyranny. Use your brain. That also conflicts with Separation of church and state. Government supressing religious rights and freedom now.

Yeah, Muslims believe in Jesus too but they don't worship him. They worship the prophet Muhammed. Fact: Islam came 7 centuries after Christianity and was influenced by the Christian writings.
