AOC is right in not accepting aid from right wing idiots, she knows what ulterior motives they have, and they never come in good faith. They will attack her later for it and politicize it. But she did raise awareness in that the Trump administration failed to act like what a government entity should act like, in providing aid in times of need during natural disasters. Right wings are too stupid to see anything beyond Fox News.

@aircowpig Her grandmother also rejected the funds. It wasn't in good faith, you know why? Then this Walsh guy turned around and publicly accuses her of "virtue-signalling." I'm sure she'll find other ways to raise funds to help her grandmother.

@aircowpig She's right though. She's raising awareness that the Trump administration failed to provide disaster relief, something a governmental entity is suppose to do. Got it? I don't see a problem with that. It's just your right wingers that have a problem with anyone pointing out anything that Trump failed to do. She says her grandmother is alright, I'm sure she's taking care of the repairs. She did say she went down to PR for the first time in almost a year because of Covid.

@aircowpig if this Walsh guy was genuine, and came in good faith, he should raised the funds, not make anything public about, don't sell the story to any news outlet, perhaps go see AOC in person, and avoid any news coverage of it, then that is doing something good for the sake of doing a good deed. AOC is smart and she can spot a snake a mile away.
