  1. The solution to the demographic decline is simple. Allow more immigrants. For example, Nigeria has a replacement of 6 and there are plenty people from Africa seeking immigration to Europe, and Central America to the US. The demographic problem is a of problem racism.

  3. If world population does stabilize in 2100 as many forecasts have it, then you could get to a steady state. Leaving aside that desirable state, there is that question of automation. With Japan we may soon see a society with robots to care for older people. Indeed people may design an AI to act as a caregiver for an aging human population.
