  2. I think is white phosphorus as opposed to thermite. Phosphorous does burn through anything. In areas where phosphorous is used I have heard that Ukrainian soldiers carry an additional pistol in order to shoot themselves if they are bombed with white phosphorous. That is how bad phosphorous is, and that is why it is outlaw. Of course, an outlaw state like Russia will use something as horrible as phosphorous.
